Now in our seismic design specifications, the earthquake action based on the steel concrete structural system, while not consider the ductility and dissipative capability of various kinds structural system. Take single Seismic behaviour factors appears conservative for the steel structural system. Because of the good ductility with steel structural system, structure damping is lower during elastic phase and other reasons, when design the seismic design for different structural style, the earthquake action is magnified in its degree, directly lead to the increasing of design of steel quantity.(probationary) ( CECS160:2004) refers to the design method on the basis of middle seismic, lists part of Seismic behaviour factors , however has not analyzed various structural system in depth linked to our county condition , the rationality need to be studied further. This paper study on the Seismic behaviour factors's theory and approach. based on the domestic and abroad research status on the Seismic behaviour factors, presented the analysis method based on the incremental elastic-plasticity time-history .The paper designed 9 Single sway rod concentrically braced Steel Frames according to our seismic sign specifications, carried on incremental elastic-plasticity time-history analysis of the case by ANSYS, provide the value of Seismic behaviour factors, overstrength and ductility factor. The paper analyzed level number, span number, span length etc. design parameter and the effect of cycle structure to Seismic behaviour factors, overstrength and ductility factor, result of the change regularity with the relative factors of various coefficient of performance.
