Yunian International Commercial Affairs Building is a complicated structure of high-rise building with transfer mega-truss.Combine with Shanghai Ynnian international commerce building, a model shaking table test and a ETABS finite element analysis of Shanghai Yunian international commerce building are carried out to research its seismic behavior.A 1:25 scale micro-concrete model of the building above is designed according to the similarity theory, for which shaking table test is carried out in the Key Laboratory of Civil Engineering and Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of Jiangsu Province. El-Centro wave,Pasadena wave and shw2002 wave were input in the test .The dynamic characteristics, acceleration, displacement responses of the model and the destructive forms of the structure under earthquake of different intensity are studied. According to the dynamic behavior and the failure mechanism of the model, the seismic behavior and the reliability of the structure design are estimated. The results showed that the structure can meet the requirements of no-damage under light earthquake, repairable under medium earthquake, and no-collapse under strong earthquake.The finite element model of the structure above is set up with the famous tool of integrated finite element analysis and design of structure ETABS, for which time history analysis are made with the same earthquake records as shaking table test. The corresponding dynamic characteristics and earthquake responses of structure and the time history traces of important position are displayed. The change of the inter-story drift of structure are analyzed.Compared the finite element analysis results with the shaking table test results, the veracity and reliability of finite element analysis results are verified.
