Many departments of industrial production need to control dust or harmful gases which can be harmful for floating in the air for a long term . With the rapid development of industrial production of our country, industrial distribution of harmful substances are increasing ,and so are the increasing problems of the environmental pollution. Serious environmental pollution and ecological damage bring the negative influence to the economic and social development. How to effectively control the process of industrial production of harmful substances so that we can improve the operating condition., which has become an urgent need to solve the problem of local ventilation.To solve this problem, it should improve the traditional and local ventilation. Therefore, some people propose to use suction-airflow which is under swirling jet to control the deleterious materials produced from the industrial production.This new idea is studied widely at home and abroad, and they yielded heartening fruits.But they lack systematic study with this ventilated way because the suction-airflow under swirling jet is so complex . In order to popularize application of this new technology better, this paper conduct a systematic and comprehensive study and it aim at the mechanism of cyclone air curtain extraction hood, by means of fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, jet theory and the related theories, using technology of computer simulation and mode test, and it studies the cyclone air curtain extraction hood systematically through flow field characteristics, the concentration of deleterious materials and the influencing factors.(1) Analyse the formation mechanism of artificial tornado theoretically , and describe mechanism of harmful substances of controling the rotary jet the role of inspiratory flow and some basic characteristics of rotary jet.(2)Establish physical model of the rotary air curtain exhaust hood local ventilation system, then using Fluent to compute fluid dynamics software for this mode of ventilation flow field numerical simulation, so as to analyze the basic characteristics of the flow field and impact factors and conclud the best angle and the air vents width.(3)Represented by carbon monoxide, deleterious migration under the rotary air curtain exhaust hood local ventilation system is simulated , compared with other local ventilation systems under the same parameters of ventilation. We lead to the conclusion that the rotary air exhaust hood ventilation system has better control of harmful substances.(4)Seting up local ventilation system in ventilation laboratory, measuring and suming up parameters under different conditions of flow field, combining with experiments of smoke tracing, analyzing the rotary air curtain exhausting hood and controling situation of harmful substances,we carried out the conclusion which is basic agreement with the numerical simulation. (5)By comparing and analysing security economic benefits of the rotary air curtain exhaust hood local ventilation system, we suppose the rotary air curtain exhaust hood local ventilation system has greater security economic benefits and social benefits from the point of view of energy saving and occupational safety.
