Nowadays, Wireless Mobile Communication Technology and Internet are developed rapidly and become the most important subjects in Information Technology. Standard IEEE802.16(WiMAX) combines these two Technology and devotes to optimizing the communication performance in various transmit environment. OFDM changes frequency-selecting multipathway attenuation channel to smooth channel in frequency domain to decrease the effect of multipathway attenuation. MIMO technology can produce independent concurrent channels, transmitting multipathway data stream, to improve transmission efficiency. The union of OFDM technology and MIMO technology is the core of WiMAX technology.This thesis based on the condition of highway communication network, analyzes the highway data network's characteristics and layout principles, considers the complexity and instability of communication environment, fully uses advanced characteristics of OFDM plus MIMO technology,including wide band width(75Mbps) and long distance(50km), realizes highway monitor information transmition access networks. This digital video monitor system is the combination of computer, networks and video codec technology, which transmits the information from various places to monitor center by wireless communication and forms video database for monitering and reviewing anytime. This system contains wireless video moniter terminal, wireless netbridge, monitor server, management software. One or more points can be monitoring at the same time. Moniter terminal can be moved and monitor server can display and record real time video information.This thesis analyzes communication environment of wireless mobile channel, expatiates on the theory of OFDM, method of realizing system and MIMO technology. This thesis also specifies characteristics of 802.16 technologies, sets the network by using 802.16 technologies, improves the monitoring system, and realizes full coverage of highway's usage, safety and accident management.
