With the requirement of manufacture and science technology in recent years, the technique of enhancing heat transfer has been developed greatly, and has been widely used in many industrial production. In order to design more innovative and efficient heat exchanger,need to research its performance,and that is effective measure for full using of energy and energy-saving reduction.In this paper, a new heat exchanger inserted by disturbance device has been introduced, with nine kinds of different structural heat exchanger inserted by disturbance device as the study, by applying commercial software—Fluent, heat transfer and flow performance of the heat exchanger form diffident Reynolds have been simulated by three-dimension numerical simulation.First of all, by simulation and analysis of temperature field, stress field and velocity vector field in the heat exchanger, the enhancing heat transfer mechanism has been got; By numerical simulation and its data processing of nine different models because of different bending curvature and column spacing, some parameter curves of heat exchanger inserted by disturbance device have been drew. Achieving the best combination about bending curvature and column spacing when heat transfer and flow performance is the best match.Secondly, heat transfer and flow performance of the new heat exchanger and smooth pipe are simulated and calculated in the same conditions(Re=391~11720). By comparison and analysis of the simulation results, prove that the heat exchanger inserted by disturbance device has better enhancing heat transfer. By comparing the numerical simulation results of the heat exchanger inserted by disturbance device to experimental results, prove they are inosculated basically and the numerical simulation is reliable.At last, by evaluating and analysing heat transfer and flow performance of the best combination heat exchanger and the waved pipe(λ/ H=7.0), the results have been given: considering the pump power consumption, when Re=1600~4800, the heat efficiency of the heat exchanger inserted by disturbance device is higher, when Re≤1600 and Re≥4800, the heat efficiency is very close to the waved pipe. But the heat exchanger inserted by disturbance device is easy to manufacture and fix, more suitable to be changed for old heat exchanger. Therefore, to some extent this type of heat exchanger has a broad application space.
