Vehicle frontal bumper is the one of the important parts on autos,and because vehicle often run on the various and complicated working condition,It not only decks the autos' appearance,but also need suitable strength,rigidity and impact performances.Especially,under the ground that energy efficient, safety and environmental-friendly have become today's vehicle design new topic,the bumper's dynamic characteristics have most become the one of the essential design elements of the engineroom layout.In this paper,applying simulation method and combining with the self-authentication of the simulation process,have built three-dimension CAD and CAE model,And mode analysis have been done for the vibration characteristics of the bumper built,at the same time,according to the actual design process and requirements,detailed analysis of the bumper system on different structures and different thickness are done.In addition,reference to the EU regulations ECE R42,have made a detailed analysis on the impact performance for the bumper system,and gotten a good result of coinciding with the actual structure and model,and what above-mentioned pave the way to the building model and analysis of the other parts.Contents(Six chapters)Chapter 1,Introducing development of the bumper at home and abroad,as well as the subject's the background,purpose and means;Chapter 2,Separately building the FEA theory model of the mode and impact;Chapter 3,Based on the theory model built in chapter 2,using right FEA software,finished the model analysis according to the actual design,and then gotten the suitable three-dimension CAD & CAE model.Chapter 4,study detailedly on the design criteria of the frontal bumper,and from the side of the protecting pedestrian and the protecting vehicle(low-speed impact),analyzed the variety of deference factors of the actual design.Chapter 5,Reference to the EU regulations ECE R42,finished the Crashworthiness analysis on the bumper system optimized,attaining detailed performance parameter.Chapter 6,Summarized the research result and opinions innovated of this thesis and next step research prospects.
