At the present time, because of the research of turbo four-stroke piston aeroengine is very few in our country, the development of small aircraft to be restricted. So, in order to meet the development of small aircraft, we need to start the research of key technology of the turbo four-stroke piston aeroengine which horsepower is from eighty to one hundred and twenty.To reduce the time and costs of the engine research, at the present time, we preliminary choose one engine to become the reference engine to guide the research of four-stroke piston aeroengine which used small aircraft in our country. The performance of the reference engine plays a crucial role in engine research. So, we need to evaluate the performance of the reference engine.This paper by means of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, fuzzy linear regression method, fuzzy correlation analysis method to evaluate and comparative analyze the performance of reference engine and other comparative maturity piston aeroengine which used by small aircraft and some domestic automobile-used engine. Built the model of three appraisal procedure, based on these model to evaluate and comparative analyze the single target and integrated performance about different engines. To comparative analyze the characteristic and the result of the three evaluation method. Studies have shown, the integrated performance of reference engine basic to represent international most advanced level. The result of study to final fix one engine to become the reference engine to guide the research of four-stroke piston aeroengine which is used by small aircraft in our country provide the theory basis.Turbocharge is one of the crucial technology in the research of four-stroke piston aeroengine which is used by small aircraft in our country. At the present time, the turbocharger of reference engine uses GT25 series turbocharger which comes from Garrett company. In the process of the research of four-stroke piston aeroengine which used by small aircraft in our country, the lectotype of turbocharger is an important task. On the basis of the structure and operational parameter of reference engine, a turbocharged engine simulation model was made in GT-POWER. In this foundation, the matching of six domestic turbocharger and engine is calculated by simulation.Using grey correlation analysis method to evaluate the matching performance to the turbocharger and engine. The result of study indicate that the domestic HP60 and JP60S(89) turbocharger have good matching performance to engine, which can consult the selection of the turbocharger in the process of the research in engine which used by small aircraft.
