With the great development of bridge construction,in quantitative, the ability of acrossing and the bridge innovation, all of which has been a qualitative leap. But still the small and medium sized bridges occupies absolute proportion. At the same time, the rapid development of the transport industry and the automotive industry, posed a severe test to the design of the bridge. So research on the impacting factor has great theoretical and practical significance.Based on the code's formula of impacting factor and fundamental frequency, the paper studies the main parameters of continuous girder bridge and its impacting factor on the fundamental frequency,in order to analyze the effect upon the impacting factor. With space FEA program MIDAS / Civil, continuous beam models with same cross-section and span and models with variable cross-section and span are established. The establishment of models is checked based on static and dynamic load data of Xihan expressway K81 +800 Bridge and Liandagou Bridge. With parameters of span and its numbers, same cross-section and span continuous beam models are calculated.Fundamental frequency and impacting factor results are compared with the results which come from code formula calculation in order to ascertain the parameters impact on the bridge. The work of curve fitting and formula amendment is done with Origin software. Two parameters including ratio of side and main span and the height at span midpoint and fulcrum are taken into consideration to set continuous beam model with variable cross-section and span. The thesis analyzes the combined effect of two parameters on impacting factor.Reasonable two-parameter function is obtained by methods of matlab's surface fitting. Finally, the paper gains some useful conclusions and reference for the future work.
