Pile-raft foundation is widely adopted nowadays. Actual building is an integrity system constituted by superstructure, footing and ground, and they are influenced by each other. So the research of interaction of pile-raft foundation, the soil and the structure can help us make the calculation more exactly. Then we can design the actual building more economically and safely. In this thesis, I take a high-rise project as an example. By utilizing SAP2000 software and adopting layered soil model and GAP connection element, a 3-D structure model is built. By calculating a square slab with thin and thick slab element in SAP2000 software model and comparing the result with precise result, we can see that the thick slab element used in thicker slab building is more suitable. Under horizontal earthquake load and non horizontal earthquake load circumstances, the different reaction between superstructure and pile-raft foundation of the co-action building are analyzed. Then the different reaction under co-action and in-co-action circumstances are compared. The effects of superstructure rigidity, raft thickness, pile length, pile to pile distance and soil deformation modulus are analyzed. Some rules and suggestion are given for design and research.
