Increasing the pressure of market competition, automotive industrial magnate adopts global purchasing of components and module supply. Now many new components design and manufacture are taken responsibility by supplier, so there are more and more opportunity and challenge for them.The chassis structure parts development is generally completed by means of computer simulation and test. The first acts as an important role. It decides the developing periods. Through the comparison between simulation result and test data, the application capability will be improved.ISTANA frame, an important reliable part, is selected to be the researching object. The process of its adaptability developing is introduced. In this research, the real road load is adopted as simulation input, the application capability for simulation is increased.1.Set up ISTANA frame model and validationSet up ISTANA frame model with quadrilateral element and two-dimension element simulating welding. The FEA model is validated by comparison between simulation result for static rigidity and test data.2.Real road test and fatigue simulation analysisDoing the real vehicle road test to collect the real road load. Analyzing the fatigue simulation by using the vehicle test data to be simulation input.3. Optimize ISTANA frame structureOptimize ISTANA frame structure by its fatigue analysis result, in order to reach the design requirement. The vehicle road endurance test is used to validate the design.The method used in the thesis is also suit to development of the similar type of chassis structure part. After the completion of the thesis, the finite element analysis method is effectively applied in the development process of ISTANA frame. Through the comparison between the test data and simulation result, the analysis experience is got and the computer application level is improved. Through the research work, the strain distribution test data and real road load data are got, which is very useful to develop the similar structure chassis parts and helpful to improve the company development capability...
