With the rapid development of power electronic technology, power electronic technology applications of industrial production and penetrated into all aspects of social life. The maintainability of requirement about power electronic equipment is more and more outstanding. High voltage, large current power electronic devices, the main circuit, the power device malfunction with conventional detection method for fault time-consuming, characteristics of artificial intelligence, neural networks and fuzzy mathematics, wavelet analysis and other emerging disciplines has been successfully applied in the power electronic equipment fault diagnosis. Intelligent fault diagnosis method for rapid, automatic analysis to determine the fault location and nature of power electronic circuits, shorten the operation downtime, improve efficiency and reduce the loss.Based on the power electronic circuits from inverse with parallel rectifier as the research object, rectifier transformer fault information as the lateral valve current, using wavelet packet analysis method, the form feature extraction of fault feature vector, a fuzzy system input, that by the fuzzy reasoning system fault diagnosis. This paper designs the fault diagnosis system by DSP core processor. Main jobs and conclusions are as follows:(1)By MATLAB simulation model for the platform, explore rectifier open-circuit fault condition, the main circuit fault analysis and simulation analysis on fault when considering the waveform as much as possible, and the fault type in accord with the actual working condition, Analysis of failure waveforms, can undertake fault classification.(2) In experimental conditions, various fault state information, the wavelet packet analysis method for processing, take eight band of wavelet packet coefficients of characteristic vector and energy form a system of sample database, And an unknown condition, to form the fault information feature vector.(3) Using the fault feature vector and sample data test data characteristic vector fuzzy reasoning system as the input, through calculation divergence and calculation membership, fuzzy reasoning, realize fault diagnosis. (4)In the implement of the fault diagnosis system, the paper designs the controlled rectifier circuit fault diagnosis system based on DSP. Design with DSP (TMS320F2812) as the core, taking the single-chip 89C52. Based on the experimental condition of fault detection, the results show that the system has a good effect. Finally the research and the further work suggestions are given.
