As China's railway developing towards the high-speed and the heavy load one,railway vehichles'accidents occurring now and then because of fatigue problems,the welded bogies,as the important part of the railway train,bears to improve the quality of the operation of passenger traffic and heavy security.In this paper,not only the development of welding fatigue has been summarizde up,but also a Chinese language interface's been developed, which is a bogie framework welding fatigue damage calculation module including welded joints fatigue level selection,enter the maximum principal stress,cumulative fatigue damage calculation,output the results on the basis of using ANSYS finite element software as the platform and secondary development tool.The successful development of this module,confirmed the feasibility of developing the professinal modules by ANSYS platform,widen the general software's application in the professional field.This paper conductes a study in the following areas:First of all,the paper introduces the current researching status of the welded structure fatigue both inland and abroad,and the research of the fatigue life prediction,proposes the bogie welede structure fatigue life prediction technology line;gives the principle of fatigue life assessment of the virtual model,and proposes the fatigue test load on the virtual mode (UIC standards) for this module ,and the details of BS standard.Second,the paper introduces the secondary development language UIDL and APDL language of the large-scale finite element analysis software ANSYS,details the necessary tools needed in this article and develop the bogie welding framework the calculation fatigue damage than module based on the BS standard.In the ANSYS software platform,the fatigue calculation module is created mainly based on the UIC standard fatigue loading test requirements,the structure of welded bogie frame of the characteristics of welded joints,the basis is the database of welding joint S-N curve, which is from the fatigue design specificaiton of BS standard provided by the Steel Structure Association of UK,and the Palmgren-Miner Cumulative damage rule.Finally,the paper validates the effciency of the module by taking an export passenger car's bogie welding framework as an example.
