This paper analyzed the main reasons of the plant diseases and insect pests in the bituminous pavement, especially the changes of pavement bending and sinking. This paper also introduced several main inspection and measurement methods. Two of them which frequently used methods were emphasized. On the basis of researching the current application, this paper summarized the problems existed and gave out the feasibility of the use of optical fiber in the detection technique of highway pavement.This paper illustrated the current pavement distribution of our country and the condition of the pavement plant diseases and insect pests and pointed out that analyzing the pavement plant diseases and insect pests was the key factor to understand the mechanics response of the pavement structure. Surface deflection value is an indicator reflecting the design theory of surface structure and construction quality. It is necessary to analyse of the road surface especially for the asphalt pavement if we analyse premature destruction of road. Existing road structure finite element method is a scientific and more matured methods.Detection method of road surface deflection at home and abroad is introduced, and more introductions about the principle and advantages of strain gauge and optical detection apparatus are got. In allusion to the two common existing technology and equipment, the structure of the asphalt pavement analysis and negative response are studied in this thesis. Aimed at the two common monitoring methods, optical grating and optical fiber detecting instruments which is a appropriate monitor method is given in this thesis through the monitoring and analysis of the interior concrete specimen and the road surface at the scene.
