With the development of our national economy and basal establishments, bridge construction develops at a fast speed. When the bridge is been exposed to atmosphere years and years, it will suffer ineluctable corrosion damage which will influence the bridge's safety reliability and durability. It elicits a problem which can't be ignored and must be settled with much strength that is life cycle design study of bridge steel structure's anticorrosive coatings' corrosion. It is no doubt that it is important for building a resource and energy-saving society, carrying out the sustainable development, strengthening the corrosion protection of bridge and raising safe service life of bridge.First, this paper aims at forms and features of atmospheric corrosion of bridge's anticorrosive coating, comprehensively studies the atmospheric corrosion environment, analyses atmospheric corrosion's influenced factors and dependence data, establishes expressions of anticorrosive coatings and the circumstance in our country, and establishes a software with Visual Basic 6.5 for forecasting atmospheric corrosion. Through the software not only we can inquire about the degree of coatings corrosion and areas' circumstance corrupt asperity, but also new data can be input in. Second the failure process and its mechanism of anticorrosive coating are analyzed in this paper and the prediction model of coatings on corrosion area is constructed by using gray theory and inspected data. Due to the data used in the model is easily been obtained, this prediction model is very easy to be employed in practice and can help to supervise service strategy. Third, by comprehensively studying appraise methods and standards of anticorrosive coatings' invalidation, we bring forward service methods and strategy of bridge steel structure's anticorrosive coatings which provide gist for maintenance and manage of bridge steel structure's anticorrosive coatings. At last, with the research result and LCC estimates, the economy of steel bridge structure's anticorrosive coatings is appraised. The result indicates LCC estimates not only is more comprehensive than other methods which only consider the beginning investing, but also is better for decision-making.
