With the development of the power industry in our country, the annual emission of the fly ash has been rising yearly,so how to turn the waste into useful things has become a social focus. In abroad,it is common to utilize the high admixture(37%-60%) fly ash concrete in structure construction, bridge engineering and etc. However,in domestic, the percentage of admixture of fly ash concrete used in bridge engineering is only 10%-20%.The paper studies the application of the high admixture(20%-60%) fly ash concrete to the bridge engineering to widen the utilization of the fly ash. With large quantities of experimental statistics, the paper analyzes the fly ash concrete from the aspects of the proportioning of mixture, mechanics functions, deforming characteristics and endurance, puts forward the designing ways to proportion the high admixture fly ash concrete and compares the different functions between common concrete and fly ash concrete with varied admixture and admixture dosage, which gives some lessons in the widely application of the high admixture fly ash concrete. In the paper, the practical application, test and evaluation proves that it is feasible to apply the fly ash concrete(20%-40%) to the lower part of the bridge. The paper also summarizes the construction technology, construction tips and construction maintenance.Under the same intensity and endurance, the fly ash concrete will save 9.0-16.3 yuan compared with the common concrete. The widely application of the fly ash concrete to the bridge engineering has economic benefits to save concrete, energy and improve the function of the concrete. On the other hand,it has good social benefits to reduce environmental pollution and cultivated land.
