ECG instruction is very important and difficult in diagnostics instruction. In tradition, the way that students study the ECG by static graph can not achieve a good teaching result. It's because that ECG is a subject which has strong practice.In this paper, we describe each modules of this system. At the same time, based on analysis of the ECG physiological causes, waveform and frequency domain characteristics, we use theories of wavelet transform into waveform identification. In the aspects of the ECG signal pre-processing, we in-depth study the advantage of the translation invariant wavelet threshold denoising compared with the method of the wavelet threshold denoising in signal denoising. We use this method into this ECG teaching system and achieve a good result in the ECG signal pre-processing. In the aspects of ECG waveform identification, we make a method which is based on the DB4 wavelet, and by means of auxiliary, it can not only meet the real-time requirement of the system, but also achieve a high detection rate.Furthermore, in the modules of ECG printing, we improve the traditional ECG curve printing method, and this method can solve the problem well that low accuracy thermal printer can not print ECG curve smoothly.Finally, we analyze and test the system. As a result, it meets the requirements analysis, and teachers and students have a good response to the system when adopting the instruction.
