In recent years, with the development of the offshore and the construction of a large number of underwater engineering, underwater construction volume of concrete is increasing. Compared with the buildings on land, the building structure in the water is complicated, especially in the deep end of ocean. The design technology of non-dispersible underwater concrete structures has become an urgent need to solve the problem, so it is important to study the performance of non-dispersible underwater concrete structures. At present, some scholars had studied on the performance of reinforced non-dispersible underwater concrete structures and bend and shear behavior of beams of non-dispersible underwater concrete. In order to obtain reliable scientific experimental data for the non-dispersible underwater concrete design and to formulate specifications and standards, it is proposed in this project to carry out the experiments in axial compressive columns and eccentric compressive columns of non-dispersible underwater concrete. Completed the following work:(1) Tests of axial compressive columns and eccentric compressive columnsof non-dispersible underwater concrete, are carried out to investigate the working feature, failure. The principal influencing factors such as ratio of longitudinal reinforcement, sectional dimension. The load-deflection curves, steel bars load-strain curves and concrete load-strain curves are studied. The assumptions such as the plane-section are in order to supply information for calculating carrying capacity.(2) On the basic of experimental results and code for structure design of reinforced concrete, supply respectively carrying capacity computing formula of axial compressive short columns, small eccentric compressive short columns, big eccentric compressive short columns. The corresponding procedures are prepared and the calculated results can be compared well with the experimental results. The formulas can be used to calculate the carrying capacity of compressive columns of non-dispersible underwater concrete.
