Sheet-pile wharf is a classic structure form in wharf. Structure computation of sheet-pile wharf is a important part in design of sheet-pile wharf. This paper mainly research on computing method of sheet-pile wall in multi-layer.In the calculation of sheet pile wall in multi-layered soil, the current design code advises to use foundation coefficient method. But this method has big calculation errors. So it is necessary to do research in the calculation of sheet pile wall in multi-layered soil. This paper is based on the " m " method of multi-layer sheet pile wall under the foundations of computing research. This paper mainly researches the foundation coefficient method, the power series solution to the laterally loaded piles in multi-layered soil and the application of ANSYS in a sheet-pile quay-wall.Foundation coefficient method has been classified into the transformed area of foundation coefficients and the weight transformed of the pile deflected curve. The simplified calculation method specified by current Code about how to evaluate the loading condition of the laterally-loaded piles in multi-layered foundation is the transformed area of foundation coefficients. But the simplified calculation method specified by current Code by using weight function which neglects the reaction arising from the pile deflection, and results in big errors. Though t the weight transformed of the pile deflected curve is dovetails with the accurate well, it is complicated. As it, this paper edits computer programs according to the principle of these methods of the. This paper calculates the sheet-pile wall of multi-layer foundations according to these two methods, and analyses the merits and disadvantages of these two methods.This paper researches the power series solution of sheet-pile wall in multi-layer basing on m method and p-y curve method. This paper edits FORTRAN program according to the calculation principle of these two methods, do research on the internal stress of sheet-pile wall and obtains some conclusions.This paper simulates a complete three-dimensional space structure of a sheet-pile quay-wall by finite element method software of ANSYS. This paper analyses the interaction of sheet-pile, anchor tie, sheet-pile anchorage and soil. Through the postprocessing function of ANSYS, this paper obtains the results of the displacement, shear stress, equivalent stress and so on of each part of the structure. The calculation result is up to the engineering practice. This can provide the reference basis for sheet-pile quay-wall.
