| This paper is respectively on the research of tensegrity structures, the form-finding and state-finding and dynamics analysis of tensegrity structures was studied. The main studying contents and outcomes as follows:1. To overcome the problem of free search to find the best solution with low efficient later stage, especially multi-dimensional search space, free search with variable neighbourhood and step method is proposed, the methods of varying neighbourhood and step are given and the simulation results shows superiority of the algorithm.2. Form-finding of tensegrity structures use a typical three cables and nine struts tensegrity structures, which combined with free search with variable neighbourhood and step method to adjust parameters of force density. The configuration of tensegrity structures have changed through adjusting coordinate of redundancy node and force density.3. The structural parameters and geometry of tensegrity structures is given beforehand, the prestress of tensegrity structures is adjusted by improved free search method, which generate selfstressed balanceable structure by the less force.4. This paper presents the dynamics analysis of a tensegrity structures using a finite element model of three stage tensegrity structures. An acceleration excitation at the bottom of the tensegrity structures was provided, while frequency response of acceleration at the top and the bottom of the structure is measured, moreover, the relationship of natural frequency and stiffness with prestress was analyzed in the tensegrity structures. |
