According to the signal generator power quality design,2H bridge cascade inverter was used as main circuit topology.2H bridge cascade inverter was studied in-depth. According to the circuit characteristics, triangular carrier phase PWM control was selected as a control strategy. MATLAB was used to verificate the design. The main circuit topology was proved be correct.The harmonic content of output waveforms is reduced.Based on the theoretical analysis and simulation, I do some hardware design. In the hardware design, including the main control unit design, drive circuit, main circuit and filter circuit hardware. In order to meet the design requirements, we must use DSP and FPGA to generate the PWM control signal.Software design including FPGA software design and DSP software design. FPGA is responsible for the completion of triangular carrier, the data latch, PWM control signal, control modules, data selection module.I Use ModelSim simulation to verificate every modules,all of them are proved correct. DSP is responsible for receiving interrupts,then calculate duty cycle.After the completion of software and hardware design,I do some tests and record the various waveforms. Experimental results show that the power quality generator can undergone a variety of power quality waveforms successfully. Compared with traditional generators, the design of the power quality signal generator has an advantage.
