At present, energy saving and environmental protection has become the key issues of sustainable development. Along with the continuously increase of the hydrogen-powered vehicle production and retention, the pollution of the environment and the shortage of natural resources were increasingly serious. It is inevitable that the hydrogen-powered vehicle one day will be replaced by the electric vehicle (EV). When we develop and test electric vehicle, traction battery is needed to use. There are so many defects in the course of the electric vehicle test, which traction battery is applied, for example low efficiency, high cost and long period etc.Nowadays domestic automobile company mostly adopted regulated power supply, when electric vehicle is carried developing and testing experiment. But regulated power supply instead of battery is difficult to meet (satisfy meet) the test requirements of automobile. Therefore, developing simulated power supply which can simulated battery performance has important significance.The focus of this paper include the following aspects: firstly, modeling the battery model. In order to simulate the character of battery, it's important to study and model battery.Due to battery is high nonlinear system. In this paper the battery model is built by support vector machine, which compared with the typical model of BP (Back Propagation) Neural Network. Support vector machine (SVM) is a novel machine learning method, which is useful for the problem as small sample, nonlinearity, high dimension and local minimization. The study indicated that the support vector machine can overcome the possible short of neural network, such as local minimization and over learning, has better performance for building battery model. Secondly, research on PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) rectifier. This article had study on the power supply, in order to replace the battery, the output character of simulated power need be equate to the character of battery such as output nonlinear and can charge or discharge. Through the research on different kinds of power supply, among them, PWM rectifier can realize characteristics of variable output and bidirectional energy flow, it is suitable to realize simulate power supply which has characteristics of battery. This paper introduces the basic principle of SVM and pulse width modulation based on voltage space vectors (SVPWM) and then introduces the realization algorithm. Moreover, using SVPWM to build simulated power supply which performance as same as battery, the algorithm is simulated by MATLAB/SIMULINK and provides the results of simulation.Furthermore, this article designs the control system of the three phase PWM voltage source rectifier useing TMS320F2812 as its core part.The simulated power designd by this paper have great application valuevalue in the electric vehicle industry.
