Industrial robot is an automated, controllable and multi-functional machines with programmable function, which has several axes. With the help of its programmable function, these axes can help handle all kings of materials, parts, tools and special devices to carry out a variety of tasks. With the development of industrial production, we need to develop a kind of advanced industrial robots which relief workers from the repetition monotonous work, dangerous and harsh work environment. Ammunition automatic packing device is a kind of moving robot.In this paper, the ammunition packing equipment is a part of an integral project which belongs to a kind of moving robot. Due to the relatively heavy loading of munitions, the filling process is done by manual operation which is labor-intensive and low efficient. In order to solve this problem, we need to develop a system that can automatically load ammunition. The system is the combination of automatic, economic, high efficient, advanced and practical features. In this paper, packing lines and the various parts of the system as a whole unit conducted a structural design, and design of the handling robot pneumatic drive system, its control system uses Siemens S7-200 PLC, according to the workflow manipulator programmable controller designed to control the program.
