| High-voltage switch is one of the critical switching equipment which plays the dual role of control and protection in the power system .Its failure would cause an accident or expand the scope of the grid network accident, and sometimes even cause the collapse of the power system, resulting in considerable economic and other losses. Through capturing the high-voltage switch's movement characteristics, electrical characteristics, we can judge the reliability of high-voltage switch, thus diagnosis the type of fault, and take appropriate measures timely to ensure the security of the electric power system.In this paper , developed a set of comprehensive test system for the mechanical parameters of high-voltage switch based on wavelet analysis. Used combination of short-term energy algorithm and wavelet analysis to calculate switch's closing, opening time, and combination of wavelet analysis and RBF neural network to diagnose type of fault, and completed the system hardware circuit design, host computer and the next bit machine test software design, network port communication module design. In the end, there is some testing of the whole system.With results from the test, monitoring methods can be further improved, but also increase the amount of monitoring features. However, the designed achieve the desired purpose. The system provides convenient and effective comprehensive test equipment for the power system and switch manufacturers. |
