With the constant development of pipeline transportation, pipelines is playing an increasingly important role in China's national economy and national defense industry. Pipeline transportation has become the lifeblood of the modern industry and national economic development. To the economical and safe operation of pipeline transportation, Fan losses, as well as environmental protection, safe operation of pipeline fluid condition monitoring has become an extremely important task. In the overall monitoring of the pipeline system, the safe operation state detection of pipelines and the leak detection of pipelines plays an extremely important role. Therefore, the in-depth study of real-time pipeline running status detection system, not only has important theoretical significance, but also has great practical value.The real-time pipeline running status detection system in this paper has referenced the latest theory and method at domestic and abroad in this field. This paper gives a very detailed description of the development process of the real-time pipeline running status detection system in all aspects and its related key technologies and algorithms. And also gives some personal views about the follow-up development of this topic.This paper has done a systematic description of the development of the real-time pipeline running status detection system.The major research are as follows:The overall design of the system. The overall design includes the overall structure,the hardware composition, use of the environment, performance level of on-site hardware devices, the network structure and its performance indicators, accuracy and functionality of acquisition equipment, the method which the system analysis software used and the function that it will achieve. All the above-mentioned is described in detail in the paper.The detailed design of the system's signal processor. The paper gives the performance requirements and selection of each module in detail, and also for the accessories just as analog filter plate, pulse volume filter plate and the GPS satellite calibration time module. It also gives the cut work of WINCE6.0 motherboards for the x86 architecture and the solutions and methods of key technologies.Pipeline operation status analysis. The paper gives the theory introduction of pipeline negative pressure wave technology and the formula for calculating the wave velocity. It also gives a detailed analysis and description of the common states during pipelines'operation, and the main features of the common states consult to data graphics, also a brief description of the pipeline condition assessment.Key algorithm of pipeline run-time status. The paper gives the detailed description of key algorithm(wavelet transform) and the relevant use which the real-time pipeline running status detection system used. And gives the method that the COM components derived from MATLAB algorithm software. Therefore, we can separate from the MATLAB environment when we do the software development, and it makes development in other environments easier.
