In the late 20th century,1990s, with the rapid development of computer-related technology. The computer hardware and software level than previous qualitative leap. Computer technology increasingly reflected in the life of an indispensable role. The same to modern Grid, the computer applications technology is also impotant. Since China's reform and opening up, China want to revive distribution network,that is to make this century, China's distribution management system (DMS) achieve the international advanced level.Power flow algorithm intruduced in this article is programmed in Fortran language, due to the calculation speed of P-Q decomposition method is fast,but the convergence is poor, while Newton-Raphson is slow and convergence is good, therefore, we keep the fast calculation speed and the good convergence. The combination of P-Q decomposition method and Newton's method improve the stability of the convergence of the optimization process. And by the characteristics for electricity grid we proposed an effective method-Lagrange multipliers, by studying the characteristics of Lagrange multipliers, it make the convergence of optimization better by combining the characteristic of the parameter.Then we program based on this mathematical model.The flow algorithm of distribution network is the base of distribution network synthesis automatic advanced application software,the performance of the algorithm are received much considerable attention.Because of there is too much different in distribution network and transmission network,it make the algorithm difficult to astringe in distribution network, and the three wire load of convergence problem more serious. The paper present an optimal flow algorithm to solve the problem that the astringency is bad,and the optimal flow algorithm lead to ideal result.This thesis uses IEEE6 nodes,32 nodes as examples of the superiority of power flow algorithm validation. It can be understanded more clearly through the grasp of power flow algorithm, and optimization of a deeper understanding of trends and better reflect the advantage of optimal power flow algorithm, reducing the current number of iterations, so that the tide was fully optimized algorithm. By optimizing the power flow before and after the convergent condition, the paper flow algorithm to achieve the desired results, with better value.
