The fins which were used in the direct air-cooled condensers of power plant used as models in this experiment and a wind tunnel experiment system was put up. PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) system was used to measure the different sections of the flow between fins. There were three forms of the fin:plant fin, fin with a pair of Delta Wing, fin with several pairs of Delta Wing. We got the velocity vector pictures and stream pictures of the flow field in the tested sections. From those results of the tests,we can summary that there were normal vortex and longitudinal vortex generated after Delta Wing; The fin punched several pairs of delta wing was the most effciency heat transfer enhancement in this experiment. The present work is not only important to improve power plant operating and efficiency, but also useful to comprehensively understanding of the airside heat transefer in the direct air-cooled condensers.
