It has become the main key to rehabilitation engineering technology when the research and development on EMG grow rapidly. Surface EMG is a kind of biological electricity which transfers under the surface skin when muscle Activities.Inside, it contains a lot of information about muscle movements. This paper researches and designs the EMG Surface electromyography collection system, in order to achieve the purpose of EMG collected accurately.According to the characteristics of EMG signal and the study of collection system, it designs a kind of good EMG collection system by the software simulation and noise controling.The main content and innovations are shown as follows:1. Myoelectric signal extractionIt achieves the ability to extract weak EMG smoothly into the collection system by extraction EMG using surface electrodes and design the circle using INA128 chip and peripheral circuits.2. The design of myoelectric signal amplification filter circuitThe EMG signal filtering circuit is the key of collection system. According to EMG amplitude-frequency characteristics and the impact of the outside, it designs the better filtering circuits, particularly in the design of a new type of 50Hz frequency circuits which can be satisfactorily resolve 50 Hz frequency noise.3. The design of true RMS circuitThe true RMS circle can rectify EMG signal waveform to facilitate EMG observations but also to achieve to deal EMG with SCM in the future.4. Myoelectric signal data displayIn order to collect the EMG signal completly and accuratly and displayed on the computer.The paper verificats the system's hardware by the software simulation and displays the EMG signal on the computer by Matlab.In this paper, according to the studies and design on characteristics of the EMG, it achieves the function of collection and display. And based on the design method it can be extended to low-frequency weak signal collected in strong electromagnetic noise interferencing.
