With the improvement of living quality and enhancement of environmental protection consciousness, traffic noise pollution has attracted more and more attention by people, becoming a main environmental pollution problem, subsequent to the environmental problems of water quality, air and castoff. Traffic noise has severe impact on residents'daily life and working, such as slumber, study, working and rest, which has become one of the hazards disturbing residents'life. Therefore, it is significant to analyze and conduct research on control measurement of traffic noise.In urban and its peripheral areas, the highly developed industry and commerce have resulted in centralized population and busy traffic. Therefore, traffic noise has become the main noise source of the city. The function of crossroad is to ensure vehicle and pedestrians to pass through smoothly in best times. And the cross pattern intersection is the most fundamental plane intersection. It is simply constructed, convenient to organize traffic, street construction being easy to deal with, applicable scope being wide. Consequently, this thesis conducts noise measure and control research based on two kinds of typical intersection in Changchun city, that is, intersections with signal and without signal.Based on the present analysis and summary of home and abroad, this thesis makes use of the frequently used noise forecast model to construct respective noise forecast model at intersections both with signal and without signal. The trial experiment is conducted in Renmin Street and Ziyou Avenue, Yueyang Street and Shuguang Road and its peripheral buildings and traffic conditions, by comparing and analyzing the computing data with the experimental data, expounding the main reason for these discrepancies. It provides theoretical support for conducting further noise control research.This thesis mainly deals with the following researches:(1) Through practical observation and data analysis of the crossroad, rectifying the forecast model according to the traffic conditions of two types of typical intersection, making sure that the discrepancies between theoretical data and practical measure data within 2dB, this thesis constructs the noise forecast model which is suit to these two kinds of intersections, pointing out the main reasons for the discrepancies between theoretical data and practical measure data.(2) By comparing and analyzing the data of the practical measurement and city area noise standard, this thesis comes to the conclusion that the factual situation of these two kinds of intersection meet the urban area noise standard, not exceeding the standard.(3) By conducting the frequency spectrum analysis of the observation data at the intersection of Renmin Street and Ziyou Avenue, this thesis arrives at the conclusion that the noise of this crossroad presents high frequency. It is necessary to reduce the noise of this intersection by decreasing the high frequency noise source. This conclusion provides theoretical and project reference for similar area problems of traffic noise in Changchun city.(4) Restricted by practical traffic view and road sight, the cross pattern intersection is unfit by using high overshadow wall and virescence plant. According to the experimental and research analysis, this thesis advances the noise reducing project which is suitable for the cross pattern intersection, resolving the area limitation problems of usually used measures and methods.This thesis expounds the equivalent noise caused by vehicle riding across the intersection. Through practical investigation and analysis in specific intersections, rectifying the intersection traffic noise forecast model which is suitable for Changchun city. By conducting factual measurement of traffic parameters between intersection with signal and intersection without signal in Changchun city, making use of forecast model to do theoretical compacting, in the meanwhile, taking practical measure in specific observation intersections, through the comparison between theoretical computing and factual measure, this thesis points out the reasons for these discrepancies. According to the frequency spectrum analysis of every observational measure site using frequency spectrum analyzer, this thesis proposes the noise reducing measure and method project which is suitable for such kind intersection in Changchun city.
