Based on the construction control of Edong Yangtze River Highway Bridge, this thesis introduces the whole-procedure geometric construction control in hybrid beam long-span cable-stayed bridge. It contains two parts:the error control and the analysis of the special construction steps in whole-procedure control. In part one, the thesis first introduces profile control, and list the key points in construction control of concrete box girder. Then, by discussion of error control of steel box girder and investigating for the way at the fabrication stage to adjust error, the thesis summarizes the methods eliminating affect of error in the whole-procedure control. When fabrication error of steel box girder occurred, it can be adjusted in fabrication stage or erection stage. In part two, the paper analyzes the special construction steps in erection procedure of steel box girder. A discussion is done about the impact of timing of support removal on completed structure. It illustrates the timing of support removal had no obvious effect on the stress, but it's good for profile removed after closure. Secondly, the paper does a comparative analysis between geometry closure and temperature closure, combined with the timing of support. Being an important part of geometry control rules, geometry closure is good for completed structure, which is a more scientific way of closure, representing the future direction of development.
