Application of pile foundation more and more widely, due to pile-soil interaction is a complex mechanical system so that the issue of settlement of pile more important, but the calculation of pile foundation settlement be effected by many factors, these factors include uncertainties and regional differences, it is the impact of these reasons make the settlement of a pile foundation design in the troubled. Using pile test data to predict calculation of settlement of pile groups, on the engineering design of practical significance. This article first commonly used in engineering test, anchor pile and loading pile test results were discussed. For model test of the indoor loess pile group reveals the different positions within the pile of pile in the upper load bearing, reduce the basic terms of the settlement shows the column load, pile side friction characteristics. To complete the paper the author provides the proposition to explore the role of law. Coefficient on the interaction between pile a lot of finite element simulation analysis shows that the pile length and pile soil stiffness ratio and diameter ratio of the pile away from the interaction coefficients. And the pile load test that the P-S curve, the deformation is divided into two parts, namely:elastic part and plastic part, and in the settlement of pile groups, only that the group effect to the elastic part of the stack, pile group effect does not affect the plastic parts. Using this idea, in the careful analysis of field pile load test results, and compared with the indoor single pile model P-S curves, through on-site pile load test P-S curve correction, parameters of pile the calculation:pile modulus, soil modulus, elastic stiffness of pile selection, and the single pile and pile group interaction average load factor in determining the initial implementation of the single pile load test based on field data and considering coefficient of pile group to calculate prediction of settlement of group piles.
