Studies On Signs Design Of Urban

With the development of society economy, the size, organization, and design of city are changing. Now, in order to adapt to fast pace of life, it is necessary to create the simpler and more comfortable cities. The creation of this kind of cities means to organize the urban elements and strengthen their direction. Therefore, the urban guide design is important particularly for improving the comfort and convenience of the urban environment.The Urban guide system is one part of the city planning and design, that guides the direction of people, transmits the place information, improves the convenience and comfort of people's lives, and has an insight to the level of urban civilization. This article focuses on the principle, contents and methods about the guide system guidance and positioning of the small and medium-sized cities.In this paper, the research object is ZhuMadian city, a small city of China. On the base of the theories of the design oriented, the design oriented of the small and medium-sized cities is studied and summarized, through the collection and analyses of relational data.First, in this paper, the urban planning and design of ZhuMadian and its existing urban guide system are analyzed. As a prefecture-level city, ZhuMadian is a small one, but in recent years it has had very rapidly development and strengthened communication with the others. So, a complete and effective urban guide system is needed to provide the convenience and comfort to the life of citizen and external staff. Some oriented design, used in ZhuMadian today, exist a lot of problems, Such as the cluttering form, the incomplete type, misplacing and fragmentation, and so on.Secondly, the basic theories of urban guide system are summarize analyzed. The urban guide system is a type of city planning and design. It are closely related with the city cultural system, the city vision system, the environmental psychology. From arch banners in the ancient to all kinds of logo licensing, towers, flags, road markings, and so on, in the present, people can not be without the design-oriented. Various theories are applied to the design-oriented city, especially the urban design theory.Finally, by analyzing using basic theory on the urban planning and design of ZhuMadian and its design-oriented, the location-oriented, content, principle and methods the design-oriented in the small and medium-sized cities are studied and summed up.
