The auto electro-hydraulic steering system is a new Mechanical and Electrical Integration product which developed in the traditional hydraulic power steering system. In foreign countries, because of its excellent performance, it has been studied and used in the auto for a long time.In the domestic, the study of the electro-hydraulic power steering system is still at the initial stage. Because, this system is involved in machinery, electronics ,automatic control and other fields. There are so many challenges to be face .Because of the technical and other factors, the research is still relatively behind.Firstly, in this subject, analysed the composition and working principle of the electro-hydraulic power steering system and improved the EHPS Test-bed of related hardware facilities and get the system characteristic date. Plotted the EHPS system booster features three-dimensional surface map and analyzed its characteristic.Secondly, focused on analyzing the structural characteristics, working principle an d control strategy of the EHPS system motors. According to the motor characterics and EHPS system technical requirements, designed a set of controller based on the 16-bit DSP TMS320LF2407. This chip has a wealth of hardware resources and excellent motor control module. The controller uses the speed of pairs outer and inner current loop PI regulator, increased the motor start ,anti-load ,anti-jamming performance.Finally, tested the electro-hydraulic power steering system. Booster motor can be accurately an quickly reach the target speed according to the given speed, and when the motor was disturbance ,such as the motor can be come back on the target speed quickly after the hand-applied resistance.In this paper that the designed controller has good reliability and the motor speed is also relatively stable through experiments'verified. The control algorithm that the controller can be used to achieve rapid , accuracy and stability.
