In this paper basis on a broad and thin wall box beam ( A bridge for short ) , we analyzed and researched the cause of typical crack in broad and thin wall box beam , the deflection in desigen status and practicality status , the project of widening and strengthening the structure and so on . The main content is as follows:â‘ According to the appearance detecting and especial item detecting of broad and thin wall box beam , analyzed the main disease in it and the cause of the disease , put forward the disease could conclude two shot . The first one is structural disease , the second is local disease .â‘¡On the basis of the planar result and the dada on loading experimentation , analyzed and researched the deviation of desige ideal status and practicality status in A bridge , we discovered that the local stress may exceed the result in planar analysis then caused cracks in beam when planar analysis essentially achieved the standard of criterion .â‘¢Utilized the spatial finite element software ANSYS , we analyzed and researched the effect of shear lag and distortion in box beam , summed up the characteristic of broad and thin wall continuous box beam that endured spacial load , proposed the improvement measures in widening and strengthening stage , and analyzed the mechanical behavior of diaphragm .â‘£Proposed stiffness-internal force adjustment method to widen and strengthening the broad and thin wall box beam , utilized the spatial finite element software ANSYS , balanced the improvement of mechanical behavior in old broad and thin wall box beam ; discussed method of widening and strengthening box beam and the taffic organization in construction stage .
