Cable-stayed bridge with single tower is used to city landscape design of big bridge more and more, because of its rich type. Due to the cable-stayed bridge's nonlinear behavior and variant inner force under dead-loading, at the same time because of it's inner forces are highly coupled under the construction phase and the completed phase, so it is necessary to analyse the cable-stayed bridge's nonlinear behavior and stability under the construction phase and the completed phase.In the nonlinear analysis of cable-stayed bridge, large displacemen,cable sagging and Girder-column are the three key issues in the problem analysis. In the stability analysis, the geometric nonlinearity and material nonlinearity should be considered and the structural dual non-linear stability should be analyzed.The paper works at nonlinear analysis and the stability analysis for the cable-stayed bridge with single tower which is Siyang bridge, the major contents as follows:1,It is introduced the development overview of the cable-stayed bridge with single tower and it's briefly raised the importance of nonlinear and stability problems and the development status of the two problems;2,It's briefly recounted the bridge geometrically nonlinear theory and explored the geometric nonlinear methods and nonlinear factors;3,It's introduced specificlly the modeling process of cable-stayed bridge using finite element analysis method combined with Siyang bridge and selected some typical construction phases and the completed phase to analyze the nonlinear static analysis and the geometric nonlinearity factors'influnce to the cable-stayed structural system;4,It's described the methods of two stability analysis problems, briefly recounted the differences between two types of stability problems and outlined the method to solve the dual linear problems;5,It works at linear and nonlinear static analysis with the background of Siyang bridge and analyzes some typical construction phases and the completed phase's results. Comparing the influence of various factors and obtaining certain conclusions ultimately.
