Our world is exposed to energy shortage and environmental pollution problems, solar photovoltaic technology makes solar cells as its core components, this technology is an effective method to solve these two problems, in research and engineer application, people need to use solar cell test sydtem to test solar cells, so as to acquire needed data, and to make analysis and judgement to solar cells.Based on the scientific research and production's actual needs, we designed a solar cell test sydtem based on MCU, this system primarily includes two sections, that is, data acquisition, and data processing and results displaying.This text completes the analysis and design about solar cell test sydtem primarily in light of the following aspects:1. According to the test principle of the solar cell and the related knowledge about electronic circuit, we have choosed suitable electronic components to design a hardware circuit, which can complete the task of data acquisition, this hardware circuit includes temperature data acquisition unit, light intensity signal acquisition unit, voltage and current signal acquisition unit, analogue to digital conversion unit and serial communication unit, and so on.2. We used MCU C51 programming language to compile software program coordinated with the data acquisition hardware circuit, controlling hardware circuit to complete the task of data acquisition, and the serial communicating between data acquisition section and personal computer.3. We used combination programing of VC++6.0 and matlab to complete the core algorithm about data acquisition. Primarily use the MATCOM method, by means of some settings, we directly use MATCOM syntax to compile data acquisition program in VC++6.0 project.4. Making monitoring display interface in personal computer, so testers can control data acquisition process through the monitoring display interface, and in the display interface, solar cell's volt-ampere characteristic curve is represented by graphic, and the relevant performance parameters is represented by numerics.After completing the data acquisition system, we made relevant test, and acquired a display interface describing solar cell's characteristics in the form of graphical and numerical integration. The test results indicate that, the solar cell test sydtem this topic has designed works conveniently, and can test specific solar cells, the test results can be presented to the testers in visual form, providing necessary analysis basis to the testers, the overall performance of the system basicly reached intended target, and the system possesses practical value.
