The dynamic characteristics and the sensitivity to the disturbance of boiler affect the capacity of changing load, security and economic operation of boiler. Taking a supercritical boiler as the research object, the characteristics of the structural and mechanism was analyzed. Using the mass, energy, and momentum conservation equations, the boiler mechanism model which contains of the combustion system and water-steam system was established. The model was validated by the operation data got from the power plant. In order to improve the precision of simulation and reduce the workload of modeling, the integrated modeling method which combines the mechanism modeling with neural networks was introduced to the simulation. The operation data was used as learning samples to train the neural network in order to ensure network stability and accuracy. The trained neural network combined with mechanism model can be used to analyze the dynamic characteristics of boiler system.
