RTV is used to increase the flashover voltage of porcelain insulators, RTV coating hydrophobicity directly affect the flashover voltage of the insulator. In order to ensure the reliability of power transmission, it is necessary to research the loss and recovery of RTV coating hydrophobicity in different situations. In this paper, influence of droplet size and delay time to measurement of static contact angle has been researched. And influence of different acid, alkali, salt solution immersion and corona on hydrophobicity, and effect of different temperature and humidity on the hydrophobicity of RTV coatings has also been studied. The results show that, the same volume of water drops should be used in static contact angle measurement of RTV. With the immersion time increases, the hydrophobicity of RTV decreased, and the stronger of solution acidity/alkalescence the faster of the samples hydrophobicity decline. |
