| At present,the most worrying problem of silicone rubber used in the external insulation for the transmission and transformation equipments is the aging of material.It is found in actual operation that even with a manufacturer's product,product quality of different batches are quite different.The secondary vulcanization process of silicon rubber external insulation products was referenced to study a rapid assessment method of quality and aging conditions of sampling batches,which assessed the quality and aging conditions of silicone rubber through the tests and comparison of hardness, tensile strength, elongation at break and tear strength between silicon rubber specimen before and after aging. The comparison tests were carried out on the HTV silicon rubber material used in composite insulators of several composite insulator manufactures at home, and the test parameters and sampling test reference threshold are detemined through the experiment.The aging mechanism of silicone rubber material and the the equivalence of this test method were demonstrated from the perspective of organic polymer chemistry theory. |
