| The power consumption of Baotou is increasing rapidly because of national economy speedy development. In order to adapt to the situation, Distribution Network transformation of Baotou Electric Power Supply Bureau has been successful in recent years. But Distribution Network is beginning to have many problems, It is imperative to optimum structural,equipment and management of Distribution Network.The thesis discussed the distribution network of Baotou can be connected through a three-section and four-optimization method, reduce costs and ensure reliability. Based on the formula of capacity - load ratio which is given by《The Guide of Urban Power Network Planning》and the funds required to extend substation,we can have an mathematical model,plan for extendation and the number of years set for reserve.then we can define reserve coefficient and capacity-load radio.
