The archery has been our traditional sports item which has the magnificent archery historic tradition in our country. The archery which has transformed from hunting tool to the operational weapon is now evolving into an international athletics sports item and entertainment project. As a new healthy subject, more and more people from different countries have paid attention to the archery. Due to its potential advantage, as the ordinary populace's sports equipment for entertainment and fitness, it is necessary to carried out the research to discuss the archery project and the recurve bow system in all aspects.The bow and the arrow are the essential two main equipments in the recurve bow system. The bow piece is deformed by the pulling force which the athlete draws, thus the chemistry energy produced by the human body's contracture of muscle is turned into the elastic potential energy of the bow piece, and then transforms it into the kinetic energy of the arrow. The recurve bow system in fact is a switch for transforming one person's biology energy to archery's mechanical energy.Considering the function and structure of bow piece, the coordinate measuring machines were used to obtain the point cloud data of the measured profile curve of bow piece through contact method. The three dimensional reversion modeling was carried out with the Pro/E software to obtain the three dimensional full-scale model which is almost the same with the actual bow piece. Then according to the bow piece's statics characteristic and the movement characteristic, the numerical simulation was done with Ansys software, the displacement as well as the stress distribution of the bow piece was received when the bow is fully pulled. the bow piece shape's special structure design is confirmed to conform to the human body mechanics, the materials mechanics, engineering mechanics and the man-machine engineering mechanics request, which provided reliable theory basis for the mechanics test experiment.Combining the related research material of the biology mechanics' theory and the related knowledge of the movement anatomy, the energy conversion relations between the human muscle group's motion and the machinery acting of recurve bow system was analyzed. The muscle group's part state of activation in the different archery actionI is also analyzed, which is used optimize the mechanical system in the recurve bow system and provides the theory reference for reducing the muscular fatigue of human body.The analysis was carried out initially using the man-machine engineering knowledge to the recurve bow system. Because the recurve bow system is sealed kinematic, this the man-machine engineering's system analysis appraisal method was used to analyze the archery accurancy which influenced by the linear load principle and human body's sense organ sighting system. All the study was on the basis of the human body's consisting of the human science,namely physiology, psychology and human body mechanics and so on. Only when the human and the bow are matched, when the linear load principle of the archery's movement is followed, when person's keen sense organ sighting system is fully displayed, the recurve bow system can display its biggest effect fully. The kinematic system's overall efficiency enhancement can only be get through the maximum optimization and cooperation.Based on statics analysis, biological mechanics analysis and man-machine engineering analysis, the statics test analysis of the recurve bow system was carried out again. The specific hypothesized-like pilot system developed by Lab VIEW was used. The statics test experiment was carried on the test machine which is independently designed for this study. On the basis of the data recorded by the data acquisition system, then summarize and analyze were carried out.The modern advanced measurement equipment was used in this study, the reverse-engineering modeling method the finite element analysis were utilized, which confirmed the recurve bow system structure design was conformed to the human body mechanics and the man-machine engineering. It's the first attempt for this study to study the archery project using the man-machine engineering, which leads to an intiatially interactive optmization of the recurve bow system.
