The objective of this thesis is to establish the whole structure for optimal efficiency operations of a disc permanent magnet linear synchronous motor(DPMLSM) based on a digital signal processor(DSP). The thesis is to present the derivation algorithm and strategy of achieving optimal efficiency operations. To fulfill the operational requirements the theoretical basis and experimental database will first be developed, along with the constructions of adequate digital processor-base control and peripheral circuits. Hence the appropriate trigger angles of machine stator phase windings can be devised, and the control objectives of the DPMLSM under steady-state as well as dynamic conditions can be achieved.To improve the control performance of the system, and to further improve power efficiency, the thesis discusses the use of space vector PWM control of synchronous motor to achieve with this double loop SVPWM control. To this end, the design analysis from three phase rotation to the two-phase rotating coordinate system and then to two-phase stationary coordinate system of coordinate transformation, both obtained the transformation matrix of coordinate transformation and inverse transformation matrix; thus completing the permanent magnet synchronous motor SVPWM control system.In the static experiments, Motor control system with different fixed by a given load, set different speed case, to change the initial phase angle of voltage and analysis the motor efficiency of different initial phase angle, then analyzes motor running on the most good efficiency, and in accordance with established procedures of this information database as the basis for dynamic testing.In the dynamic experiments, the analysis contained in the external light and external overload torque, permanent magnet motor to change speed, the voltage trigger point of how to modify the early phase, and then the permanent magnet synchronous motor to maintain optimum efficiency of the work of the state.
