| As a clean renewable energy, wind power generation draws more and more attention around the world. And variable speed constant frequency doubly fed wind power is the leading technology of the world. With the continuous increase of the installed capacity, the impact on the grid of wind farm will not be ignored. This thesis focuses on the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG), analyzes its operating principle, establishes the detailed mathematical model of the system, studies the control strategy of DFIG and wind turbine; analyses the performance characteristics when wind changing and grid fault; compares voltage stability characteristics under different control mode, and gives an advice refering to the control scheme; moreover, compares and analyzes the transient stability characteristics between wind farm based DFIG and conventional synchronous generator under the same capacity. |
