This paper describes the numerical simulation on the gas-solid multiphase flow in a swirl burner which inject the mixture of coal and biomass with the software Fluent. It uses the RNG k-εmodel based on Euler frame of reference for the computation of gas phase flow field, and stochastic tracking model based on Lagrangian frame of reference for the computation of particle phase, which can reflect complex movement experience and collision of particle and wall. The coupling of particle and fluid uses PISC arithmetic. The influences of the angle of blades and the size of the particle on the flow velocity are studied. It reveals the movement trait of airflow and particle in front of the burner's nozzle and in the combustion room by multiphase theory.
