In Beijing, as the earth is limited, the heat-supplying tunnel constructed by mining method had been used for over a decade; Meantime the heating network continually enlarge in other cities, while the traditional open cut method does not satisfied the requirement of the city construction. As a result, the eat-supplying tunnel constructed by mining method will still been using in other cities'heating projects. However, existing codes do not have any provisions of underground heating tunnel. And there are no enough project examples and convinced data which can be useful to the underground heat-supplying tunnel. To the hidden-excavated heating tunnel, the impact of the thrust and how to design and construct, which are questions need more research. In this paper, some research has done to find the reaction between the structure and the fixed prop in the underground heating tunnel, and the impact of the thrust to the surrounding soil, structure and fixed prop. This paper works from Chegongzhuang-West line heating pipeline project, used ANSYS FEM software, analyze the fixed prop and structure during the excavation phase and the heating pipe working. Contrasted the results of numerical simulation with the data of in-situ test, the conclusion are followed:1. Validated that the fixed prop section which now be used in projects is safe under the thrust.2. With the analyzing the result of in-situ test, contrasted the numerical simulation results of some section of the tunnel, a conclusion can be make:The impact of the thrust on settlement and stress of the surrounding soil around the structure during the heating pipe working is tiny. With the analyzing the result of in-situ test, contrasted the numerical simulation results of some section of the tunnel, we know that:The impact of the high trust on structure during the heating pipe working is get weaken with its section to the fixed thrust's distance.
