In recent years, China has been developing high speed railway, completed and successfully operating a number of high-speed railway. China is a mountainous country, leading to many long and large tunnels appears inevitable. With the develop of train speed, the aerodynamic effect of the tunnel turns to be more and more serious. In order to solve high-speed railway tunnel aerodynamic problems, the world scholars have done extensive studies and have achieved some results. In this paper, the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway tunnel project is made as the background, study on its corresponding issues of the aerodynamic effect. Explore the pressure fluctuations law inside the tunnel after setting the relief shaft, with emphasis on the shaft position of the transient pressure of body, and different train length on the transient pressure inside the tunnel study of the effects. In this paper, by using model test in combination with numerical simulation, to do targeted researching on these issues. Through pressure monitoring in the model test whether the tunnel has shaft or not, get the pressure fluctuations law inside the tunnel and compare with numerical simulation. In the numerical simulation, we also monitor the pressure inside the tunnel and on the train body whether the tunnel has shaft or not, gain the optimal position of the shaft, the train length on the impact of laws of the transient pressure, and compare with the model test. By comparative analysis, conclusions are concluded as follows:1. Maximum transient pressure of body appeared at the train head with the first shaft reflected wave encounter period, reducing the peak pressure or prolonging the time interval between the first positive and negative pressure can reduce transient pressure of body.2. Shaft position can affect the size of body transient pressure. A formula has been established that is the optimal selection of shaft location, related to the train length, tunnel length and train speed.3. With the train length growing, caused the transient pressure of body increased and comfort of passengers decreased.
