Yingxian wooden tower is not only the highest ancient wooden building but also the only timber structure Pavilion-style tower in China.. The tower is a masterpiece of both China and world architectural history, it also has high historical value, artistic value and scientific value. The tower has the history of nearly one thousand years. Both the load-bearing structure of the tower,and the component structure are damaged This was caused by many factors such as eroded by weather,earthquake and lord,etc.The tower is a critical state and need to be repaired.The Damage survey on the second floor of Yingxian wooden tower is the most badly of all the floors. The overall slope of the second floor is very serious. Column and bucket arch have different degrees of damage condition. In this article, the damage condition on the second floor by the scene on the situation of investigation and finite element numerical calculation method for the following work:1.
