In recent years, in order to solve "oil shortage" and search for alternative energy sources, oil shale is paid more attention, which is due to the energy crisis becoming more and more serious, the oil price is becoming expensive all over the word. The comprehensive utilization of oil shale depends on the combustion in furnace. Therefore, it is important for the design and operation and the better uesful of oil shale resources to know the combustion characteristics within the flow in circulating fluidized bed.EULERIAN two-fluid model, non-steady-state solution was adopted to numerical simulation of the flow characteristics in the furnace for coal and oil shale particles; Oil shale particles volume fraction and funerth hearth height velocity are numerical simulation with the different primary air. In order to get the best distributed wind speed and the more advantage circulation ratio,numerical simulation is adopted to study the design of Operating conditions for coal combustion, study the different wind speed and primary air for oil shale combustion, and analyse the difference between coal and oil shale in combustion.The results of the numerieal simulation: The oil shale particles flow in circulation fluidized bed, Core-Annulus is observed, and EULERIAN two-fluid model is appropriate for numerical simulation. Comparison flow of the coal and oil shale, oil shale volume fraction is bigger than the coal's; Oil shale volume fraction and funerth hearth height velocity become larger with the wind speed increased; Analying the temperature and SO2 density, 5 m/s is the best operation primary air and 6 is the more advantage circulation ratio; To meet the requirements of enviromental protection, it can not use desulfurization system because hua dian oil shale has sulfur capacity in itselful;In the oil shale combustion, from side to wall O2 mole fraction decreased.
