Since the 1990s, along with the country to strengthen investment in infrastructure construction, China's transportation construction industry had achieved rapid development, and the highway tunnel technology also had made considerable progress. However, in the Tianshan area, the special natural and geographical environment(high altitude, low temperature, rock crushing, complex structure, poor geological etc.), it is the first time to construct the highway tunnel in our country, there was no instance be used as reference works. In the cold regions, there were so many completed and operational tunnel had taken place diseases ,such as the tunnel lining cracked, the road water emited, iced . it was greatly weakened the use of the tunnel and serious threated to road safety. Highway tunnel construction to achieve the design, construction, technical experience, required the combination of the Tianshan districts, local conditions, and further study. On this basis, put forward a set of Xinjiang Tianshan area for highway tunnel builting core technology. This article relied on the tunnel Sailimu Lake, Xinjiang G045 lines was studied to solve the freezing problem of the tunnel as a starting point. Main research contents include:①Literature at home and abroad had been analyzed and more than a typical domestic project to inspect the tunnel frost damage prevention and control research. Summarizes the characteristics of highway tunnel in cold regions and engineering specificity. And preliminary study of the tunnel in cold regions frost-heave force on the tunnel structure.②The particularity of the tunnel for the Sailimu Lake, in the demonstrated bolting used in the tunnel project is reasonable. On this basis, put forward the inflatable bolt design, analysis of the working principle of pneumatic bolt, displaying the inflatable anchor application prospects in cold regions tunnels.③Analysis of the cold regions of the anti-highway tunnel drainage design principles, and waterproofing and drainage measures in detail. On this basis, the proposed "opt-controlled" anti-drainage technology concept, a preliminary discussion of the "opt-controlled" in the external water pressure, showing a "select-control" concept is feasible.④Applied in the worldwide investigation and analysis of various insulation layer, based on the characteristics of the tunnel for the Sailimu Lake,and given Sailimu Lake tunnel insulation layer of technical measures.For the thermal insulation layer thickness, through the equivalent thickness for the calculation algorithm.⑤Through the tunnel in cold regions antifreeze measures fuzzy evaluation, combination of bolting and measures to prevent drainage of technology and the use of insulation. By reference to a large number of literature and on-site inspection, a preliminary evaluation of the technical reliability Sailimu Lake freezing tunnel.Finally, through this research to further explore the prospect of freezing tunnel and direction of development in cold regions.
