Study On European-style Landscape Design In Modern Residential Area

The purpose of this thesis is to propose design principles, design techniques and design points for current European-style landscape design in residential area of China. Starting from the analyses of residential area styles, environment concepts and introducing the brief history of residential environment landscape design at home and abroad,this thesis analyzes the functions and the styles of residential area environment. In view of the social demand of European-style housing at this stage in China and the blending between European-style landscape design in residential area and our society,economy and culture, combining with the practice and the experience which come from the project "Elite Apartment Landscape Design in Suzhou Industrial Park ",the author proposes the basic design principles of European-style residential area landscape design. Finally, this thesis further discusses the techniques and the key points for European-style environment landscape design, providing the basis and the reference for European-style landscape design in residential area in the theory and the method.
