In recent years, there has been an increase in use of renewable energy due to the growing concern for the global energy shortages and security issues. With the development of photovoltaic (PV) technology, applications of photovoltaic in grid-connected situations have grown rapidly. This thesis focuses on the control strategies in single-stage grid-connected PV system, which includes the modeling of PV arrays, maximum power point tracking technology, the topology and modeling of the single-stage grid-connected PV system. This paper proposes a variable step MPPT strategy and the control strategy in grid-connected PV system. Finally, the design of hardware circuit and the software implementation based on RTW technology for single-stage grid-connected PV system is proposed. Through the system test, Experimental results show the high stability of the control strategies applied in single-stage grid-connected PV system.
